It all began at Forte… with a few memorable moments that still make me smile — including some notable episodes with Sean Poynter from OWP Global, and the very first-ever guest appearance featuring Charles Long (and yes… a former co-worker, which always makes things interesting).
Since then, the podcast journey has been full of incredible conversations, unexpected laughs, and the kind of insights you don’t always get in a conference room or a claims file.
And I get asked all the time:
“Hey Kev… who was your favorite guest?”
Truthfully? That’s like asking someone to pick their favorite child… or their favorite slice of pizza. I can’t do it. Every guest has brought something unique to the table, and each episode has its own special place in the story.
But… I did want to take a moment to highlight a few episodes that really stuck out to me — the ones that made me think, made me laugh, and reminded me why this whole thing has been such a fun ride.

Rod Patterson
This is like listening to one long Ted talk. In fact, this was hard to edit for a few reasons… 1) My mic was broken, so the sound is wonky. 2) Picking what questions to cut and the personal times where Rod and I were just talking leadership and claims industry… it was not easy.
Paul Kottler
Honestly, one of the originals and just a great video from start to finish. Paul and I discuss his childhood ambition to become a senator, where the industry should go for conferences, and the best bar-b-que in the united states. All of the important things in life.
Stuart Wright
This will always be special for me. Stuart’s episode is recent, but it will be the first the first I shot with a market member. I hope it helped people in the US better understand Lloyds and feel some connection to the market.
